Naples street food festival: 2026 edition

The street food festival returns from 10 to 12 October in the heart of the old centre, with dozens of stands between piazza Bellini and piazza San Domenico Maggiore. Competing are the quintessential Neapolitan specialities: fried cuoppo, pasta frittatina, montanara and pizza a portafoglio.

Beyond the food there are free workshops with pizzaioli and pastry chefs, guided tastings and live music until midnight. Entry is free, individual tastings cost 3-6 euros: a five-stop tasting route comes to around 20 euros per person.

The weekend is perfect for pairing the festival with sightseeing: the stands are a five-minute walk from the apartments and dishes are eaten standing up, as tradition demands. Skip the 1-3 pm peak if you prefer to avoid queues.
